This 8-mile trail was my answer. It was brutally hot! I believe this is considered a moderate route. I happened to get lost a bit but found my way eventually. The view of the city is astonishing from atop the mountain, too. There is absolutely no shade, so prepare well for the heat. In the end, the downhill section was worth it.
I wish there were a few more jump features and drops. The main downhill section is a great thrill, though.
I rented my bike from a local bike shop (LBS), but I forgot the name of it. All the shops should know where to park and how to get to this trail. Just ask around.
